Shimla, July 4 -- Himachal Pradesh has reported cumulative losses of over Rs.495 crore and at least 69 deaths since the onset of the monsoon season on June 20. According to the status report issued by the State Emergency Operations Centre (SEOC) on Friday, the death toll data includes 26 road accident deaths during this period and a total of 43 deaths so far, owing to monsoon fury.

The damage includes 55 fully damaged houses, 198 cow sheds, multiple public utilities and departmental assets, such as roads, water schemes, power infrastructure, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities.
