Faridabad, Feb. 9 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday lauded the BJP's victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, calling it a historic mandate by the people and said that people (AAP government) who had come in to power by resorting to lies were deprived of their power.

"The people of Delhi have given a historic mandate in these elections. They were deprived of the policies that PM Narendra Modi had implemented across India. Now, they will also benefit from them," Saini said.

He further said, "The people who had come to power by resorting to lies were shown the way out by the people of Delhi."
