Ahmedabad, May 9 -- The Gujarat government, on Friday, banned the use of firecrackers and drones at all events and functions across the state until May 15.

Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi, in a post on X, urged people to follow guidelines.

"Gujarat: No firecrackers or drones will be allowed in any functions or events until the 15th of this month. Kindly cooperate and follow the guidelines," the Gujarat Home Minister posted on X.
