Gandhinagar, Feb. 15 -- Under the guidance of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the Gujarat Engineering Research Institute (GERI) in Vadodara has successfully tested over 6.14 lakh samples since 2021, playing a role in strengthening the construction sector, a statement by the CMO said.
State's Water Resources and Water Supply Minister Kunvarji Bavaliya stated on Friday that an estimated revenue of over Rs184 crore has been generated by the state government through these tests.
Providing further details, Minister Bavaliya said that multiple laboratories are operational across the state, including in Gotri, Vadodara, to test construction materials for various public and private sector projects.
