Gandhinagar, Aug. 9 -- Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan on Saturday here in Gandhinagar.
On the occasion, women tied 'rakhis' to Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel.
In a post on X, Gujarat CM said, "On the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan, sisters from various classes and regions of the state visited Gandhinagar and tied Rakhi on my wrist. This celebration of Rakshabandhan was filled with great joy. I am grateful to the sisters for the affection they showed. Wishing all sisters a happy and prosperous life."
Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Raksha Bandhan with children at his residence in Delhi.
