New Delhi, April 23 -- German Ambassador to India Philipp Ackermann expressed his condolences on Wednesday to the people who became victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack.

Ackermann said that he condemned the terror attack in the region, which left dozens dead and even more injured.

"We strongly condemn the brutal terrorist attack targeting tourists in Pahalgam. We are deeply saddened, our thoughts are with the families who have lost loved ones. My sincere condolences to the people of India."
