Mumbai, June 10 -- Former India men's and women's captains Dilip Vengsarkar and Diana Edulji have been named Cricket Advisors to the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).

The decision was taken during the MCA's Apex Council Meeting on Monday. The Mumbai cricket board passed key resolutions to strengthen the foundation of state cricket and its future.

MCA believes Vengsarkar and Edulji's "wealth of experience and deep understanding of the game will provide invaluable guidance to cricketing operations and development programs."
