Guwahati, Feb. 17 -- In a historic move, for the first time the Assam Legislative Assembly session is being held outside Guwahati for one day.

The first day of the Budget session of Assam Legislative Assembly will be held at Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) assembly in Kokrajhar on Monday.

Buses carrying Assam ministers and the state MLAs left for the BTC assembly in Kokrajhar where the first day of the Budget session would be held.
