Mumbai (Maharashtra), Oct. 22 -- : Equity indices were in the red during early hours on Tuesday amid mixed global cues but software major Infosys plunged by nearly 13 per cent after a whistleblower complaint accused senior company officials of indulging in unethical practices.

At 10:15 am, the BSE S&P Sensex was down by 77 points at 39,222 while the Nifty 50 edged lower higher by 1 point to 11,660. Sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were mixed with Nifty IT down by 3.3 per cent and realty by 0.17 per cent. But Nifty pharma was up by 1.27 per cent and FMCG by 0.92 per cent.
