New Delhi, July 1 -- Following the Union Cabinet's approval of the Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) Scheme to support employment generation, former secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Sumita Dawra, said that the scheme is expected to generate over 3.5 crore jobs.
The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday approved the Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) Scheme to support employment generation, enhance employability and social security across all sectors, with special focus on the manufacturing sector.
