New Delhi [India], January 29 (ANI): The Economic Survey 2025-26 tabled in Parliament by the Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman, on Thursday, flagged digital addiction as a growing concern for youth health.

"Mental Health crisis is closely linked with digital addiction, which is the degrading mental health of the youth. There is a high prevalence of social media addiction among those aged 15-24, with multiple India and global studies confirming it," Economic Survey stated.
