Naypyidaw, Sept. 14 -- An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 struck Myanmar on Sunday, a statement by the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.

In a post on X, the NCS said, "EQ of M: 4.6, On: 14/09/2025 20:26:43 IST, Lat: 20.85 N, Long: 93.53 E, Depth: 80 Km, Location: Myanmar."

Earlier on Saturday, an earthquake of magnitude 4.0 struck Myanmar at a shallow depth of 10km.

"EQ of M: 4.0, On: 13/09/2025 11:09:51 IST, Lat: 25.65 N, Long: 97.08 E, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Myanmar," NCS said in a post on X.
