Pudukkottai, Jan. 4 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah accused the DMK government of turning Tamil Nadu into a "dumping ground" for biomedical waste. He also termed the current government "the most corrupt" and accused it of religious "atrocities" against Hindus.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of state BJP President Nainar Nagenthran's marathon yatra, the Home Minister said, "Tamil Nadu government has turned Tamil Nadu into a dumping ground. The dangerous biomedical waste from other states is being dumped into the sacred rivers of Tamil Nadu."
