Mumbai, May 30 -- The release date of Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh's film 'Dectective Sherdil' has been locked.

The film, which also stars Diana Penty and Boman Irani, will be out on ZEE5 on 20th June.

As per the makers, 'Detective Sherdil' tells the "tale of a unique detective tasked with solving a case that is far from ordinary." It was shot in Budapest.

Written by Ali Abbas Zafar, Sagar Bajaj and Ravi Chhabriya, 'Detective Sherdil' is Ali Abbas Zafar's second collaboration with Diljit Dosanjh's after the acclaimed Jogi. The film marks directorial debut of Ravi Chhabriya.
