Panama City, Oct. 1 -- The members of the Indian diaspora enthusiastically participated in the Navratri celebrations in Panama and brought the festive spirit to Panama.

Sharing the details in a post on X, the Indian Embassy in Panama highlighted how the diaspora members played an integral role in preserving and promoting India's traditions and culture amongst the people of Panama.

"Indian Diaspora in Panama celebrating Navaratri festival with great zeal preserving and promoting India's traditions and culture among Panamanians", the Embassy wrote on X.

Navratri, which means 'nine nights' in Sanskrit, is a Hindu festival celebrating Goddess Durga and her nine avatars, known collectively as Navdurga.
