Washington DC, July 26 -- After nearly 30 years, one of the most beloved romantic comedies of the 1990s could be getting a sequel. Actor and musician Dermot Mulroney recently revealed "there is talk of a sequel" to his 1997 PJ Hogan-helmed 'My Best Friend's Wedding', in which he co-starred with Julia Roberts, Cameron Diaz and Rupert Everett, according to Deadline.
"I know nothing about it," the actor said while giving an update about the sequel, adding, "Last I heard, quote, lawyers were talking, unquote."
'My Best Friend's Wedding' is a 1997 romantic comedy film directed by PJ Hogan from a screenplay by Ronald Bass, who also produced the film. The film stars Julia Roberts, Dermot Mulroney, Cameron Diaz, and Rupert Everett.
