Hyderabad, March 3 -- Congress MP Chamala Kiran Reddy on Monday jumped into the brewing political controversy over the delimitation issue and accused the central government of "confusing" the people.

He alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the centre was trying to "find a formula" to get "control over southern states".

"If delimitation happens as per these leaks, then South Indian states will be affected. This is to confuse the people, and the BJP's agenda is to gain control of the country. They are trying to find a formula to get control over southern states by creating such confusion," Reddy told ANI.
