New Delhi, Dec. 19 -- Following the success of Baansera, Delhiites now have a new scenic destination for hosting socio-cultural events right in the heart of the city. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA), under the direction of Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena, has opened the lush green lawns of Asita for public bookings.

To connect people of Delhi with river Yamuna, DDA has allowed bookings of lush green lawns of Asita Park near ITO, for various socio-cultural events. This initiative has been taken under the guidance and supervision of Governor of Delhi, V. K. Saxena, who played a crucial role, right from the conception to the development of various riverfront projects in the city, that include Baansera and Asita.
