New Delhi, July 26 -- The Delhi Police have made significant progress in solving the brutal murder of a 14-year-old boy near Veer Chowk Bazaar. The victim was sodomized and stabbed 24 times before his body was thrown into the Munak Canal on the night of June 29-30.

"A 14-year-old boy was murdered near Veer Chowk Bazaar on the intervening night of 29- 30 June by a group of 12 to 13 people, which included at least six minors. The postmortem report has confirmed that the boy was sodomized and then stabbed 24 times, before his body was thrown into the Munak Canal, according to Delhi Police.
