New Delhi, Feb. 3 -- The Delhi High Court on Monday refused to entertain the election petition filed against Delhi Government Minister Mukesh Kumar Ahlawat. The petition sought directions to halt the pension and other benefits provided to him, as well as his disqualification from the upcoming elections.
The court raised concerns over the maintainability of the petition. Additionally, the court observed that if an incomplete affidavit is submitted, the Election Commission would take appropriate action.
In light of this, the petitioner decided to withdraw the case filed before the Delhi High Court.
