New Delhi, Aug. 20 -- The Delhi High Court was scheduled to pronounce its judgment today on Delhi University's challenge to a 2016 order of the Central Information Commission (CIC) directing disclosure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's bachelor's degree information.

However, the pronouncement has been deferred as the concerned judge did not hold court today. According to court staff, the order may now be pronounced next week.

Earlier, the bench of Justice Sachin Datta had reserved its verdict after hearing extensive arguments from the parties.
