New Delhi, Dec. 29 -- Reiterating its zero-tolerance policy on corruption, the Delhi Government has acted decisively against Revenue Department officials in direct public dealings.

Following repeated complaints and serious allegations, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta ordered the immediate suspension of the Sub-Registrar of Kapashera and the Tehsildar of Mehrauli, the release said.

The licence of a deed writer in Kapashera has been cancelled, with CM Rekha Gupta stressing that public officers must act with honesty and accountability.

"The licence of a deed writer posted in Kapashera has also been cancelled."
