New Delhi, Jan. 20 -- The Delhi government's Finance Committee has approved the construction of a new six-lane elevated road in South Delhi, at an estimated cost of over Rs 1,400 crore, the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said on Tuesday.
The elevated corridor will stretch 5 kilometres from Saket G Block to Pul Prahladpur, with a project budget of Rs 1,471 crore. Construction is expected to begin shortly, with a target completion date set for December 2027, the CMO stated.
Additonally, the Delhi government has also approved setting up two Common Facility Centres in Badli and Bawana under the Micro & Small Enterprises Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP).
