New Delhi, Oct. 15 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday welcomed the Supreme Court's decision to relax the firecracker ban conditions, allowing the sale and bursting of green firecrackers in the Delhi-NCR region for Diwali.

Expressing her gratitude, Delhi CM described the ruling as a "balanced approach" toward environmental protection and the spirit of the festival.
