New Delhi, April 23 -- The Rouse Avenue court on Wednesday extended the time for 11 days to complete the investigation against two accused, namely Sahil alias Poli and Vijay Gahlaut alias Kalu, in a case under the MCOCA. They are co-accused in a case linked to an organised crime syndicate allegedly run by Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu.

Special Judge Jitendra Singh extended the period of investigation until May 5 after hearing the prosecution's submissions. Investigation officer ACP Naresh and Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) appeared before the court and sought an extension of 30 days.

The 90-day period to complete the investigation is expiring today. Police have sought an extension of time.
