New Delhi, June 18 -- The Congress on Wednesday termed as "puzzling" Modi government saying there was no mediation in the cessation of hostilities between India and Pakistan and Donald Trump continuing to be adamant on his own claim about brokering peace and said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should state what he told the US President.

"This morning, Modi government issued a statement in Hindi, which said that Narendra Modi clearly told Donald Trump that 'he has no role in the ceasefire, and we do not accept any mediation.
