Hyderabad, Aug. 23 -- Congress on Saturday carried out a door-to-door campaign in the Amberpet area of Telangana's Hyderabad to apprise people about the alleged 'vote theft' during the 2024 general and assembly elections.

Some of the banners read, "Vote Hamara Khanooni Haq Hai (Voting is our legal right), Vote Choron Ko Jail May Dalo (Jail the vote thieves), Election Commission Vote Chori Band Karo (Stop stealing votes, EC)."

Senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao was seen at the forefront of the campaign, talking to locals regarding the alleged vote theft while accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of being involved in the same.
