New Delhi, May 18 -- Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday said he was "deeply" saddened by the "devastating" fire tragedy in the Charminar area of Hyderabad, which claimed 17 lives, including those of eight children.

In a post on X, Kharge urged Congress workers to rally around the affected families and offer assistance to them.
