Tiruvarur, Jan. 28 -- SA Chandrasekhar, director and father of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay, on Wednesday said that the Congress could come to power if it effectively utilised the political opportunity being created by the actor.

Chandrasekhar participated in the wedding reception of Arumuga Pandian, State Secretary of the Congress party, held at a private marriage hall.

Several political personalities attended the event, including Mallai Sathya, who recently split from the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) to form a separate party, and former Vilavancode MLA and BJP leader Vijayadharani. The leaders greeted each other cordially and exchanged pleasantries without any political discussions.
