Raipur, July 4 -- Chhattisgarh Finance Minister OP Choudhary on Friday presented a robust vision for Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms, emphasising the need for strict action against bogus registrations and fake invoices.
He participated in a crucial meeting of the Group of Ministers (GoM) in New Delhi, which aimed to enhance transparency, technological integration, and efficiency in GST revenue collection.
Choudhary participated as a member of the GoM and presented a series of key recommendations aimed at curbing tax evasion, modernising registration systems, and preventing fraudulent input tax credit claims. The group is chaired by Goa Chief Minister Pramod P Sawant.
