Raipur, Jan. 4 -- Raipur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Lal Umend Singh on Sunday said overall crime in the city has come down by 10 per cent, according to the annual crime data shared for 2025.
Addressing a press conference, Singh said the city recorded 17,703 crime cases in 2024, which fell to 15,896 cases in 2025. The press briefing was attended by the Additional SP, Traffic ASP, CSP and other senior police officers.
Sharing details of the annual crime review, the SSP said the reduction reflected improved policing and monitoring across the city.
