London, Sept. 8 -- : The traditional changing of the guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace in the UK has been cancelled amid reports of the deteriorating health of Queen Elizabeth II, media reports said on Thursday.
A sign saying "No changing of the guard ceremony today" was put up at the gates of the palace, American weekly online news magazine Newsweek reported.
This comes a few hours after Buckingham Palace reported that doctors were concerned about the health of Queen Elizabeth II, and recommended that she remain under medical supervision . Reports said all four children of the Queen had arrived at the Scottish castle of Balmoral, where the Queen is.
