Shimla, Sept. 26 -- Himachal Pradesh Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of "misleading" the public with false claims about assistance from the Centre for the 2025 disaster in the state.
"The BJP is running a misleading campaign to misguide the people. Neither did the state receive any special relief package for the revenue losses of 2023, nor has there been any ground implementation of the Rs 1,500 crore disaster relief announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi after his visit to Himachal Pradesh this year. No notification has been issued so far about how or in what form that amount will be provided to the state government," Negi told reporters at the State Secretariat on Thursday.
