New Delhi, Jan. 1 -- In a major bureaucratic reshuffle on the last day of 2025, the Central government approved a large number of senior-level appointments at the level of Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary and equivalent posts across key ministries and departments.
In the late-night order issued on December 31, 2025, more than four dozen officers were appointed to various posts in different ministries following the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
