New Delhi, April 29 -- Rising mixed doubles combination of Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto showcased their prowess with a come-from-behind win to give the team a strong start, but India could not avoid a 1-4 loss against Indonesia in their second Group D match in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) Sudirman Cup Finals 2025 in Xiamen, China on Tuesday.
Having lost the opening tie against Denmark, India needed to beat Indonesia to stay in the hunt for the knockout berth. Consequently, Dhruv and Tanisha gave the team the perfect start after an initial hiccup, as per a press release from the Badminton Association of India (BAI).
