New Delhi, Jan. 31 -- As India gears up for the 2026 Union Budget of February 1, the domestic defence-tech industry is calling for a fundamental shift in how the government buys technology. Dr R Shivaraman, Co-founder of Big Bang Boom Solutions (BBBS), believes that for the indigenous ecosystem to truly flourish, the government must prioritise the volume of orders and the quality of technology over the traditional "lowest bidder" model.
