Aligarh, April 22 -- President of the Bharatiya Samaj Sevak Sangathan, Chaudhary Ifrahim Hussain, has written to the Chief Secretary of the Government of India on Tuesday, raising objections to certain arguments made during the recent Supreme Court hearing on the Waqf Act.
Speaking to ANI, he said that in his letter, he had strongly opposed two key points raised by the opposition. First, the claim that non-Muslims should not be allowed to serve on Waqf boards, and second, regarding the registration of old mosques that have not been officially recorded since ancient times.
