Belagavi, April 28 -- A group of BJP women activists held a black cloth protest during Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's address at a Congress rally in Belagavi on Monday, disrupting the event over his recent remarks that "war is not necessary" against Pakistan.
The incident occurred at the CPED Ground, where the Congress had organised a large protest rally against the central government over rising prices.
As Siddaramaiah began his speech, a few women, their faces covered with cloth, waved black cloths and raised slogans against the state government and the Chief Minister.
