Mumbai, July 30 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ram Kadam on Wednesday hit out at the Congress and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi for questioning the government's decision to call off military operations post-Pahalgam attack, asserting that India acted in its national interest and not under any foreign pressure.
Kadam questioned the Congress party's stance in Parliament, asking why they are following "Pakistan's script."
Responding to Gandhi's pointed remarks in the Lok Sabha during the debate on Operation Sindoor, Kadam said, "What else does Rahul Gandhi want to listen to? Why are they (Congress) reading Pakistan's script in our Parliament again and again?"
