New Delhi, Feb. 24 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday searched several locations of naxal suspects in Chhattisgarh in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Birju Ram Taram's murder case.

The NIA team searched six locations in district Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki of Chhattisgarh and bordering Maharashtra, and seized mobile phones, laptops, and printers, along with other incriminating materials and documents from the premises of suspects.

The searches were conducted at residential premises of sympathisers and overground workers (OGWs) of the proscribed terrorist organisation as part of NIA's investigation in the case.
