Patna, July 11 -- Medical students of Bihar Veterinary College in Patna are observing an indefinite strike alleging that a brawl took place with locals leading to an incident of firing inside the campus last evening. One of the students was injured in the firing.
The protesting students are demanding security for the students.
A student protesting said, "The students of our college come and play here; they had a brawl with the locals on the campus, around 6 pm yesterday. This keeps happening here every other day. Firing also took place yesterday. One first-year student sustained bullet injuries in his hand. He is admitted to a hospital. So, we are observing an indefinite strike."
