Patna, April 22 -- The Congress Party on Monday suspended its Buxar District President, Manoj Pandey, after he failed to "establish a good contact" with the workers and leaders during a rally presided over by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge a day ago.

The suspension was confirmed by Rajesh Rathod, Chairman of the Media and Publicity of the Bihar Congress.

Speaking to ANI on Monday, Rathod said, "There was a big rally of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, 'Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan', and during that, it was seen that the Buxar District President Dr Manoj Pandey was not able to establish good contact with the workers and leaders.
