Guwahati, April 26 -- The Assam government has begun a crackdown on individuals posting controversial content on their social media accounts amid heightened tensions and security concerns in the wake of the Pahalgam terrorist attack.
The office of Assam's Chief Minister on Saturday said that 10 individuals have been identified and arrested by the police for allegedly attempting to "justify" the Pahalgam terror attack, where 26 people were brutally killed. The state government has urged people to immediately report any such incident to local authorities.
