Guwahati, June 6 -- Assam Housing and Urban Affairs Minister (DoHUA) Jayanta Mallabaruah said that the flood situation in Assam was under control and the state government was prepared to face any challenge.
Jayanta Mallabaruah said, "The flood situation in Assam is improving. A few days ago, the situation got very bad, but now it is getting better slowly, and our government is in full readiness. Wherever there is any need for help, we are providing relief. The Chief Minister has gone to Barak Valley. Wherever there are floods, government officials and DC are proactive."
