Dibrugarh, Dec. 10 -- To take stock of the preparations put in place for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled visit to Namrup on December 21, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday held a meeting at the Chief Minister's Secretariat in Dibrugarh with several ministers, MLAs, and senior officials of the state government.

It may be noted that during his proposed visit to Assam on December 20 and 21, Prime Minister Modi will formally inaugurate the new terminal building of the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Borjhar, Guwahati and also unveil a statue of the Bharat Ratna Gopinath Bordoloi.
