Dibrugarh, Feb. 9 -- Extending the government's helping hands towards youth empowerment, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma ceremonially distributed the first tranche of seed capital under Chief Minister Atmanirbhar Asom Abhiyan 2.0 (CM-AAA 2.0) to 10,404 young entrepreneurs from Dibrugarh, Sivasagar, Tinsukia and Charaideo districts at a function held at No.1 Deoghoria Goan Pathar in Dibrugarh on Monday.
It may be noted that under the Chief Minister's Atmanirbhar Assam Abhiyan 2.0, the State government has decided to support 74,036 prospective entrepreneurs across the state. Under the general category, each beneficiary will receive Rs 2 lakh.
