Nagaon, March 30 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday announced on social media platform X that he will be visiting Nagaon to dedicate a library and several connectivity projects, including one that has been a long-standing demand of the people for 50 years.
His post read, "I will be in Nagaon today to dedicate a library and a host of connectivity projects in the town including one which has been demanded by the people for the past 50 years! I also look forward to interacting with the people of Kampur in the afternoon."
Meanwhile, Sarma on Saturday highlighted the progress made by the BJP government in Assam since 2016, particularly in North-Eastern India.
