New Delhi, Jan. 30 -- The Chief of Army Staff, Upendra Dwivedi, on Friday felicitated two Bactrian Camels, two Zanskari Ponies and two Army Dogs for their outstanding contribution to operations in some of the most challenging deployment areas of the country. The Bactrian camels deployed in the cold deserts of Ladakh have been vital to high-altitude logistics, carrying heavy loads across difficult terrain and steep gradients.
