Undavalli, Jan. 30 -- Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh on Thursday launched a new initiative, 'Mana Mitra,' aimed at providing civil services to citizens via WhatsApp. The launch took place at Lokesh's residence in Undavalli, Amaravati, according to a release.

The state government has allotted an official WhatsApp number for this.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Nara Lokesh said, "I have done a 3,132 km padayatra called the "Yuvagalam" padayatra. This idea started from the Yuvagalam padayatra.
