New Delhi, July 1 -- Former world champion and Olympic bronze medalist javelin thrower Anderson Peters of Grenada was announced to be ruled out of the Neeraj Chopra Classic competition on Tuesday. Poland's Cyprian Mrzyglod has been roped in as a replacement in the line-up.
In a statement, NC Classic took to X and posted, "*Official Update* Anderson Peters has been ruled out of the Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 due to an ankle injury sustained during his last competition. Poland's Cyprian Mrzyglod has been named as his replacement in the final lineup."
